It's seven institutes are actively involved in nationally and internationally relevant applied research in collaboration with international partners. The HTW Chur is relatively small, allowing for highly efficient proactve and interactive studies. The School of Tourism (ITF Institute for Tourism and Leisure Research) is the competence center for tourism studies at the HTW Chur. For over a decade, it has been working in applied research for tourism and recreation projects. The BSc in Tourism is the first international degree program at a Swiss University of Applied Sciences that is specifically designed to meet the needs of the tourism industry, laying the foundation for meaningful and profitable employment in tourism and related fields. The MSc in Business Administration with a major in tourism provides further depth of management-oriented knowledge, in theory and practice, in international business at large and the tourism industry in particular.
