李平，1964年生，教授。1984年获西北工业大学流体控制与操纵系统专业学士学位，1987年获该校飞行器导航控制系统专业硕士学位，1995年获浙江大学工业自动化专业博士学位。2000-2001年在加拿大阿尔伯塔大学访问进修。现任辽宁石油化工大学校长，受聘为西北工业大学兼职教授、博士研究生导师。他是辽宁省制造业信息化工程专家组成员，兼任辽宁省青年联合会副主席，辽宁省自动化学会副理事长，中国自动化学会过程控制专业委员会常务委员。

李平教授长期从事工业过程先进控制和优化方面的教学和研究工作，公开发表学术论文100余篇，承担完成国家863计划项目、辽宁省和中石化科技攻关项目等各类科研项目20余项。先后获部、省级科技进步奖四项，曾荣获“辽宁省第四批省级优秀专家”、“辽宁省优秀共产党员”、“中国石油化工集团公司劳动模范”等光荣称号， 2001年获国务院“政府特殊津贴”，2004年入选辽宁省新世纪百千万人才工程百人层次。
Li Ping

Li Ping, professor, was born in 1964. In 1984, he got the bachelor degree majoring in Fluid Control and Control Systems in Northwest Polytechnical University, Xi'an, China, where he got his master degree in the year of 1987 specializing in Aircraft Guidance and Control. In 1995, he gained his doctor degree with the specialty of Industrial Automation in Zhejiang University. During the year of 2000 and 2001, he studied in the University of Alberta, Canada as a visiting scholar. Now he is the president of Liaoning Shihua University, and appointed as a Part-time Professor and Ph.D Advisor in Northwestern Polytechnic University as well. He is a member of Manufacturing Industry Automation Project Specialist Group of Liaoning Province, the vice chairman of the Young League of Liaoning Province, the vice Chairman of the Association of Automation of Liaoning Province and the member of the standing committee of the Editorial Board of Control Engineering of China.
Professor Li Ping has long been engaged in teaching and research work of the industrial process control and advanced optimization and published more than 100 academic papers. He undertakes and completes over 20 different kinds of scientific and research projects including National 863 Project, Liaoning Province and Sinopec projects, etc. He has been awarded four provincial and ministerial-level Science and Technology Progress Award, and he won the glorious titles such as "the fourth provincial level outstanding experts in Liaoning Province", " Outstanding party members of Liaoning Province", "China Petroleum & Chemical Corporation Model Worker" , he was issued the State Council's "special government allowances" of 2001 , and he was selected in the New Century of Ten Million One Hundred Talent Project in Liaoning Province in 2004.
